Posted July 29, 2010 Comments(0) Modern Warfare 2 Global Thermonuclear War Hidden Playlist ( Xbox 360 ) Global Thermonuclear War is a hidden gametype in Modern Warfare 2. It may have been incomplete at launch or is going to be re-released as DLC. The objective is for the opposing sides the capture a Tactical Nuke in the middle. Once a team has captured it a countdown automatically starts. When the countdown is over the Nuke explodes, killing all players on the map and winning the game for the team who captured the nuke. For a team to capture the nuke players have to be in the area around the nuke. For every second in that area, a point is given to the team who the player belongs to. Once 100 points have been scored the countdown begins. It should be noted that multiple players in the area do not increase the time it takes to capture. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: How to Beat High Explosive on Veteran (Gameplay Tutorial) This video is for the people who have trouble beating the High Explosive spec ops mission on veteran. This mission is probably the hardest of all the spec ops missions. Here’s a short summary of tips for this mission: -Use flashgrenades to stun the juggernauts -Try to aim for the head with the grenade launcher or RPG, it’s a one hit kill if you hit them right. -You can block the juggernauts path when one player lets himself be downed and he lies in the path of the juggernaut. -Watch all possible entry ways closely, if you’re not careful they’ll kill you in a split second. -You can confuse the juggernauts when you climb in and out of the window (as shown in the video) -Juggernauts mostly spawn randomly so ALWAYS be on alert. The end result is a shooter that has an identity all its own, and leverages its license to make something pretty cool for fans and newcomers alike.
War for Cybertron has several multiplayer modes to choose from. “Escalation” is a mode for exclusive pre-order characters and characters unlocked during the campaign. Non-stop waves of robots attack until the player(s) are defeated, similar to Gears of War “Horde” mode and Call of Duty: World at War “Nazi Zombies”. Players are also able to spend points earned from defeated enemies on health, ammo, new weapons and unlocking new areas in the map. “Deathmatch” is a free-for-all game type where the player with the most kills at the end of the game is the winner.
